By mixing and applying the adhesive to the damaged surface, it can cure into a hard, workable material that can be sanded or drilled to suit your solution.

Temperature resistance for more environments
After full curing, SteelBond can withstand temperatures of approximately 50°C–300°C, making it suitable for environments where heat is a factor.

Shapeable after curing
Once cured, the adhesive can be filed, sanded, drilled or shaped to meet the requirements of the repair.

How to Use SteelBond

1. Prepare the surface – Clean thoroughly and dry the area where the adhesive will be applied. Remove dirt, oil, rust and loose particles.
2. Mix the components – Squeeze out equal parts from tube A and tube B onto a flat surface and mix well until the colour is uniform.
3. Apply the adhesive – Use a spatula or mixing stick to spread the adhesive onto the damaged area.
4. Shape if necessary – The adhesive can be shaped during the first few minutes before it begins to cure.
5. Allow to cure – Leave for approximately 24 hours before full load or exposure to high temperatures.
6. Finish if needed – After curing, the surface can be sanded, filed or drilled.
