ESTER is a wireless alarm with a magnetic sensor, developed to alert you when a door or window is opened. With several different modes, the device can be used as a burglar alarm, doorbell or closing reminder, depending on what best suits the situation.

ESTER has been developed to give a sound signal when the magnetic sensor is broken, which can help draw attention to an open door or window more quickly.

One Alarm, Several Uses

ESTER combines a magnetic sensor with a speaker unit that can emit up to 108dB of sound. The device is designed to work on doors, windows, fridges, freezers and filing cabinets, depending on where extra attention is needed. 

What Makes ESTER Practical To Use

Several Modes For Different Needs
ESTER can be set to different modes: normal alarm mode, constant alarm mode, doorbell mode or closing reminder, designed to make the device adaptable to the situation. 

Powerful Sound Signal On Triggering
With a volume of up to 108dB, the alarm is designed to be clearly heard when triggered, which can help alert people nearby that a door or window has been opened. 

Closing Reminder For Fridges and Freezers
In reminder mode, ESTER can sound an alarm if the door is left open after a set time, such as 3, 15, 30 or 60 seconds, which can be handy for fridges or freezers in a shop environment. 

Doorbell Function With "Ding Dong"
In doorbell mode, the device instead emits a softer "Ding Dong" sound when the door or window is opened, which can serve as a gentler reminder rather than an alarm.

Long Standby Time
With two AAA batteries (not included), the device can in some cases remain on standby for over two years, depending on how often the alarm is triggered. An LED indicator flashes when the battery is low. 

How To Install ESTER

1. Peel off the protective backing from the double-sided tape on both the sensor and the magnetic strip.
2. Place the main unit and the magnetic strip on the door or window, with a maximum gap of 1 cm when closed.
3. Align the arrow markings on the two parts with each other.
4. Choose the desired mode: normal alarm, constant alarm, doorbell or closing reminder.
5. Test the function by opening and closing the door or window.
6. Hold down the off button to turn off the alarm when needed.
