VILHELM is a magnetic window cleaner designed to clean both the interior and exterior of window panes in one go. Powerful magnets hold the two halves of the tool in place on either side of the glass; as you move the internal section, the outer half follows the same path.

The built-in water reservoir moistens the cleaning cloth during use, eliminating the need to pre-spray the glass with water.

Cleaning the exterior of windows on upper floors or in flats without balcony access is a common practical problem. Leaning out, using ladders, or paying for professional window cleaners is time-consuming, expensive, and not always safe.

VILHELM is designed to make it possible to polish the outside of your window from the safety of the inside—without leaning out, climbing, or even opening the window fully.

Magnetic Power Keeps Both Sides Synchronised

The magnetic system in VILHELM secures the two halves to the glass with enough force to follow every movement without detaching. You guide the inner half by the handle, and the outer half—placed on the exterior of the window—moves in parallel, cleaning the outside of the glass simultaneously.

The safety wrist strap is designed to catch the outer half if the magnetic connection should happen to break.

Features That Make VILHELM Easy to Use

Built-in Water Reservoir - The water tank is integrated into the inner half of the VILHELM and dampens the cleaning cloth as you work. Simply fill the reservoir with water and your choice of cleaning solution, give it a light shake, and start cleaning—no separate spraying required.

Double-Sided Squeegee and Cleaning Cloth - Both halves of the VILHELM are equipped with cleaning cloths that polish both sides of the pane in parallel. The integrated squeegee blade helps wipe away water and dirt from the glass surface during each stroke.

Safety Cord for Secure Use - The included safety strap attaches to your wrist, holding onto the outer section if it detaches from the glass. This provides an extra layer of security when cleaning windows at height or in hard-to-reach places.

Replaceable Cleaning Cloth - The cleaning pads are replaceable. Simply rotate the lock 90° to release and swap the cloth when it becomes dirty or worn out.

Four Variants for Different Glass Depths - VILHELM comes in four versions tailored to different glass types and thicknesses. Choosing the correct variant for your window's glass depth is essential to ensure the magnetic connection remains strong during cleaning.

Choose the Right Variant for Your Window

Blue Variant – 3–8 mm Glass Suitable for single glazing without aluminium frames, fish tanks, and car windows.

Red Variant – 8–15 mm Glass Suitable for thicker single panes or windows with a single aluminium profile.

Green Variant – 15–26 mm Glass Suitable for double glazing with two aluminium profiles (standard double-glazed windows).

Orange Variant – 20–30 mm Glass Suitable for thick double or triple glazing with wide frames, such as energy-efficient triple-glazed windows.

Please measure your glass thickness carefully before choosing—the wrong size will affect the magnetic performance.

How to Use VILHELM

• Secure the safety strap around your wrist.
• Gently lean the outer half against the window via the edge of the glass to place it on the outside.
• Place the inner half against the inside of the pane—the magnets will pull the two halves together.
• Fill the water reservoir with cleaning solution and water, then cover and shake lightly.
• Move the inner half across the glass in steady motions—the outer half will follow and clean the exterior simultaneously.

• Always select the correct variant based on your measured glass thickness—the wrong size will lead to a weak magnetic connection, and the tool will not function as intended.
